Galactagogues include oats, brewer’s yeast and flax seeds. All of which are commonly made into ”boobie bikkies”, “lactation cookies” or adapted into other recipes. My personal favourites are boobie Anzac biscuits or Lactation caramel slice 😋
Herbs that increase milk supply include: fenugreek, blessed thistle and raspberry leaf. These can be brewed into delicious herbal teas or taken as supplements 💊
Feeding more often can also help to increase supply. However, topping up with formula can (in some cases) reduce milk supply. Although it’s normal and common to use dummies, they may also interfere with supply.
