Plastic Free July – buy real BUTTER rather than MARGARINE made in a factory

All through July I am posting ideas for reducing plastic in our lives. These are small swaps and purchases you can make that will make a big difference to the earth 🌏 and often to your hip pocket 💰 too!

#plasticfreejuly Swap Number 4
🐄 \\ buy real BUTTER rather than MARGARINE made in a factory // 🏭
Have you all seen the posts about how margarine is actually plastic? If you are still consuming margarine, do yourself a favour: GO TO THE FRIDGE, TAKE IT TO THE BIN, THROW IT OUT!!!
Margarine is so completely toxic. And now in Plastic Free July, lets ALL stopping eating it! Because it’s plastic.
Margarine and a lot of butters also come in plastic containers.
Butter does have the option of paper. Now, I do suspect that the paper is lined with some form of plastic, but it is a lot less than what is used with the plastic containers with lids.
We buy butter and put it in a butter dish. In summer ☀️ this works well if we use a small container as the heat can make the butter go rancid easily. In Winter however ❄️ it works perfectly.
B.-d. Farm Paris Creek is our fav 😍
