My plane ‘must haves’ and Plastic Free July suggestion.
Whenever I’m on a plane, I am reminded of the total waste that must happen. The food wasteage, the plastic cups, the wrappers and the little toothbrushes. But also, the headphones they give out willy-nilly.
On my husband’s first overseas trip, which did take a bit of convincing 
😉 we invested in a nice set of headphones. It was part of the deal to get him travelling. It means when the hosties walk through the aisle, “Headphones? Headphones? Headphones?” You can condifently say, “No, thank you.” And politely smile, because the other thing that saddens me on planes, is the constant rudeness of passengers to those hosts and hostesses (completely beside the point). Take your own headphones! 🎧 and #choosetorefuse because there’s #noexcuseforsingleuse
