World Breastfeeding Week – Reducing your risk of cancer

There are many lifelong positive health effects from breastfeeding for both the mother and the baby. For the mother it helps to space out pregnancies, providing a certain level of contraception. It reduces the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, and also lowers the risk of hypertension (high blood pressure).
